About the event
So many Durango youth do not have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing view of the Needles from Purgatory Resort. Most locals would be surprised to hear that a lot of youth didn't even know it existed until they got invited to be a part of the Durango SOS Outreach Program. For 19 years, the Durango SOS Program has been so grateful for the opportunity to introduce the great outdoors and the adventure sport of snowboarding to an average of 80 underserved youth per year. This long term mentoring opportunity has been proven time and time again to work wonders for our youth of Durango. We are seeking to raise $20,000 to support local youth mentorship this winter!
